Hi all,
i've installed few weeks ago an s8300 with cm 3.0.1 updated with latest patches and firmware.

I'm having problems with a mm720 and 4 bri connected to it.
The problem is that, more or less , every 1 day and half - two days, the lines go out of service and for bringing them back online i have to perform a reset sys 4 and reset mgp.

The settings of the bri-trunk seems to be all ok....

Any help would be very appreciated.

Thanks

Hi Definityman and all the others.
I also experience the same problem, same sw version and config.
Any help?
did you solved the problem?

Hi guys,

we have the same problem with 4 MM720 installed in 4 separeta gateways all running latest release of software. CM is running 3.0 version.

Any solution for this so far?

Did you set synchronization? If you test the board, does it fail any tests? Any slips? How about list meas ds1 log xxxxx (board location) any errors?

Thanks,

Hi Wildcard,

thanx for assisting.

Syncronization is configured. Test 1251 fails(Signaling link state check test).

Port: 007V401
Service State: in-service Active NCA-TSC Count: 0
Maintenance Busy?: no
Layer 1 State: activated

TEI Value Layer2 State Endpt Extension Endpt
Link1 81 assigned

I will check this all will BRI provider, but somehow restart of the modules results into in-service state.

It happens over the weekend, while the lines are idle. There is the feature Layer 1 stable? y/n where this idle means that maintenance can drop the layer 1.

Opps, I thought you were talking about a T1.... Looks like your dealing with CTI links. I would start by looking at your port settings on the ip interface and locking them down if they are set to auto. Then ping the remote interface via the CTI interface and see if you have any latency issues. Have them do the same.

Thanks,

Wildcard

Hi all,

I'm Experience the same problem at bri, point to multi point also. Has somebody already a solution? is this a world wide problem or a problem with the local provider. i'm living in the Netherlands.

The same problem has also appeared in Italy with MM720 and BRI trunks. The trunks should be configured point-to-point from the provider side...

I have the same problem in Poland on multiple G700. Seems I'm not the only one.

Same problem in Croatia with S8300/G350 and MM722. Every day trunks go out of service (no sync). Only reset system 4 can bring trunks into in-service. We checked BRI lines with provider and it seems everything ok. Then, we replaced S8300 with IPOffice and after that we haven't noticed problem.
