S1, S2 and S3 adresses

Do you know what is the aim of S2 and S3 ?

IP phone are connecting to the node IP so we always put the same adress in S1 and S2 through DHCP.
And what about S3 ?

Hard to understand.

S2 would be for a second call server if you had one and S3 would be for your GXAS server if you had one.

Sorry for S3 I have an NAG2000 server but not used for a few month because suspected of freezing ip phones...so now it's set to 0.0.0.0
Maybe I've seen S4 somewhere...I'll check tomorrow at work.
As far as S1 and S2 are concerned :
I have 2 call servers for sure : one active and the other one inactive. But in my mind S1 is for the node IP and this IP is unique, even if we have two or more Sig servers.
If I put another node ip in S2, this is another site and another node id also, so not the same database. If S1 is not reachable, the IP phone will reach S2 and...nothing else than "Invalid node id" message.

These are for Geographic Redundancy.

Each IPMG suppports registration to as many as 3 call servers when using Geo Redundancy.
