Hello All,

Just wondering if any of you has an idea on how to configure an S08 module. Any sample config or link to a config that will tell me what settings or parameters are needed will be very much appreciated. I'll be connecting the S08 module to an IP500.

Thanks in advance.

power down the ip office
connect the S08 module with the cable that came with it and power up the module
after that power up the ip500
open the config and you will see that it is all made for you
you only need to change what you want to change
be sure you have a license for upgrading from standard to pro because of the expansion module
in standard mode an expansion module will not be recorniced !!!

I usually do this way.
Add the unit, which should auto create the lines,

eg, 701/2/3/4/5/6/7/8

In shortcodes I then usually do a match of

tel 701
701
Feat Dial
Line 701

tel 702
702
Feat Dial
Line 702

And so on.

Rough guide and if you want any further details I will hunt out some of my configs.

You can then point DDI's to the 701/2/3/4/5/6 ect for things like Fax now, video confrence.
