Russian fonts in Quark

Hi.

I have to paste some Russian text into an existing quark document. I use a PC. I can see the russian in Word. But when I cut and paste it into quark there is a font issue. I have a russian font but this appears to make no difference.

Any thoughts appreciated

What version are you on...n also do you have the east asian version...try some vodka too..

A couple of questions:

1)Are you on Mac or Windows versions? They treat fonts differently.

2)Is the Russian font embedded in the Word document or installed on your computer?

3) If the (same) Russian font is installed on your computer, what happens if you reapply the font to the text? Could you define a style sheet (possibly character style sheet if you have mixed composition) and apply that to the text?
