Here is what I have done and the
errors. If you can help solve, thank you in advance.
The error I get when running the "packaged application":
Execution of this application has stopped due to a run-
time error. The application can't continue and will be
shut down.
The program I wrote:
Relatively simple database routines with forms, reports, tables, and queries using Acccess XP with Developer and the Packaging Wizard. I had the wizard scan and it found additional files for packaging which I included. No
macros are in the application. Set up the installation
files using a Win2000 machine.
When the error does not occur:
Running on Win2000 with Office XP installed and using
msaccess.exe.
Running on Win 2000 runtime with Office XP installed.
When the error occurs:
Win 98 machine clicking on some buttons (not all) in a
form. (using runtime)
Win XP machine clicking on some buttons (not as many as
the Win 98 machine).
Therefore, it always works on my machine (Win 2000) -
runtime. Some features work on the WinXP machine but even
less work on the Win98 machine.
HELP. This programs has no compile errors and no macros.
It has some basic VB code.
