I would be greatfull if someone could offer any advice or suggestions to help me resolve this issue...
I have created a collection of VB apps that I use to control various Attachmate Extra! sessions - these all work fine for 60 users with Win2k & Extra! 6.7 (previously 6.5) - my problem is that I am unable to use those same apps on 3 laptops used by the managers, they also have Win2k & 6.7, I have also tried it on a laptop that has had a clean install of 6.5 but to no avail.
I have single stepped through the VB app and have found that the Extra! object is created, and if I refer to the active session I have no problems, but if I try to access a named session a Runtime error occurs saying session not recognised - If I count the open sessions and obtain their names, all are resolved correctly but as soon as I use Set Session = System.Sessions.Item(x) I get the runtime error ?
I know that the default corporate software build on the laptops is slightly different to the desktop users but I can not find any differences that relate to Attachmate. I am puzzled why I should be having a problem with just this one command...
Has anyone got any ideas on this, please ?
Thanks
