Runtime Error debugging

Is there a source for determing the meaning of Runtime Error's? I have a client who is getting a Runtime Error 18 when trying to access her Yahoo address book. I have searched for that code without any results. My process in this case will be to upgrade her version of IE, assuming it is not already current, and hope for the best. It would be nice to be able to make a more informed guess as to the source of the problem. Any suggestions?

I can't tell you specifically what the error code means that is generally a programming error like a bad sql or vb statement which is generally going to be beyond the users ability to correct.

You may want to contact the vendor on that issue. joegz

Thanks anyways.

The message was asking if she wanted to run debug so I said OK to check it out. The failing line of code looked like it should have worked so I disabled script checking in IE's advanced internet options and the problem went away.

The problems she was having subsequent to getting the error message would appear to have been caused by the error message, not the flagged source code.

Go figure...wee
