Hello!

We are using NT and I'm developing a VB-application with VB6.
After a tiny upgrade in SAP my application decided
to stop working at 5 users with the famous above error code
it told me use the proper '*.OCX' file. Distribution of several OCX-files didn't help anything. Because I got that problem with 2 different OCX-files, there must be something other.
It doesn't make sense at all because the other users don't have problems.

Any idea is welcome, because I am totally out of idea
Harald Büsching.

Try copying and registering the *.OCX files that gave these errors from the Machines of the user who is working fine..

if this not help, can i know what are the *.OCX files that gave the error..

I have too less rights to register a program, but our administrators did some experiments.

Installation of my program
Installation of SAP
it doesn't work

then
Deinstallation of my program
+ some cleansing in the registry
Installation of my program
it still doesn't work

-->
empty image on the computer
Installation of SAP
Installation of my Program

it works fine

Look like our 'bright' installation routine together
with 'errorless' MS registration stuff let it happen.

It is VSFLEX7D.OCX, but I had the same problem with the
OCX to use a status bar. I solved that problem by leaving out the status bar in my program. Sadly the grid is too important to be left out.

Harald.

Same problem here.

have created a Sdifgrid.ocx from Visual Basic msdiflexgrid.ocx...

but when i install software on client machine (Win 98 Lite Version) giving error : Runtime Error : Updated version of this file not available...something like this..

i tried to copy sdifgrid.ocx from my machine to the client matchine at path C:\Windows\System

then it gave error ...Component SDIFGRID.oCX or its dependencies not correctly registered...
