i have copied my project to the network server. from my pc it's working fine. but when i run the project from other pc this giving runtime error '339' which says some *.OCX files are missing. i have copied the files from my pc to the other pc (c:\winnt\system32\*.*).

but still this gives error

can someone help

Just copying the files probably will not work since they need to be registered in the registry. Try using the application setup wizard and install the program on the server in the correct manner, using the setup files created with the wizard.

i'm not able to find the application setup wizard , can you let me know how to do it??

The application setup wizard should be in your start menu of your computer ... On my computer it is ........
Start/ Progams/ Microsoft visual basic 5/ Application setup wizard

If you do not have the wizard installed then check the vb cd.

You can also register the ocx files manually using REGSVR32.EXE

i'm using vb6 and i can't locate application setup wizard in >>Start/ Progams/ Microsoft visual basic6/

Then it probably isn't installed. You can download the Visual Studio Installer free from Mcrosoft's website. Much better IMHO.
