I have developed a VB6 app which uses Crystal Reports V9. The app runs fine on the development machine but on the NT server I get a runtime error 13 Type Mismatch. I know that version 6 of Crystal had a similar problem which was fixed in V8.5 could it be that the problem has come back in V9?
Any Ideas would be helpful.

I think I got the same issue. I can't pass my parm from vb to Crystal 7.0 I get the runtime error 13 Type Mismatch. Is it becouse am using Crystal 7?

Any help would be great

Apparently the Crystal Reports Designer Runtime library has some compatibility issues with regards to it's binary compatibility. I found this article on the Crystal web which might be helpful:

I too have a similar problem where the Type Mismatch is occuring between versions 7 and 9. If I change my variable to Object rather than Report, the report runs without error, but I end up with gobblegook in in it. I will try to implement a full upgrade of the libraries to 9 as suggested in the article and post my results.

Here's hoping for success... back soon.

Didn't work. I'm getting tired of this crap... I've been trying to solve this b#llsh!t thing for 2 weeks now! I'm going f@cking crazy.
