Created an Access2002 database and used the Packaging and
Deployment wizard to distribute a runtime version of the
database.

When trying to install on Windows NT computer, sometimes
the installation gets into a loop trying to update system
files. It says System Files need to be updated, your
computer needs to be restarted. After the computer
restarts, it goes right into the installation process but
it gives the same message and restarts the computer. It
keeps doing this, seems like the files never get updated.

Computer was Windows NT 4, SP 6a. Administrative
priveleges were set.

Office XP Developer Service Pack 1 is installed.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks,
ap

We have exactly the same problem on a PC with NT Server but we don't get it on others with only Windows NT. There we have a different problem where the run time files are not copied even though the install appears to complete. Did you find any resolution of your problem and have you encountered the failure to copy the runtime files?
