Running VBA Modules in Excel 2000

We have migrated to Office2000, have a automated excel97 application that is auto started via vb6 project. The excel97 has an autoexec module with auto_open as sub procedure. All was fine upto this migration. I have searched MS Technet but cannot find soln, did find one article stating that modules coded under 97 ver may experience probs under ver.2000. Does any one know how to auto run this sub procedure under excel2000?

Should be OK - what are your security settings (tools, macros, security in XL2000) - if these are set to High then no macros will run. Set to medium to prompt user to enable macros.

Or use Digital signatures or run from trusted location.
