can you do this or can you do a running total only on a boolean? And if you can only do it on a boolean can I do it on something like this:

{ALLO.GIFT}<>'AA' or {ALLO.GIFT}<>'BB" and {ALLO.NUM} like "14*"

To do a running total on a conditional field (and I understand that you want to total the results of the conditional field and not do the total in the field?) just treat the conditional field as any other. Remember, you can do evaluations and formulas within the running total as well.
