Running the same query repeatedly garnishes different results

We are working on an application where when you run the sql script in query analyzer a bunch of times it will be the same. However when you open up a new connection (new query) you lose or gain one or two records.

They are just copying and pasting the entire script into the new window when it happens.

I'm just looking for ideas as to what may be causing this....

Without more detail it would be hard to answer the question. Several possibilities occur to me, one the data has changed over time, two the person running the code is restricted from seeing all the data for some reason, three the person is running the code on a different server and the records are not in synch, four, they are missing the last part of the where clause in the copy and paste.

3a. They could be connected to the same server, but a different database.
