I have a PC with 2 Monitors, Primary Monitor and Monitor 2, what I want to do is run a Powerpoint Slideshow on Monitor 2 while I continue my normal work on the Primary Monitor.

Now in the Slideshow setup I can define that the show is to be displayed on Monitor 2 and that it is to loop until 'ESC' is pressed, but as soon as I then return to work on the Primary Monitor say open 'Word' the presentation stops and remains so until I return the focus to the slideshow in the task bar.

Anyone have any ideas how I might get around this?

regards

Chris

Okay I have found a solution to this if anyone else should require the same functionality, there is a software title called ‘Powershow’ which is an add-in to ‘PowerPoint’ and adds the options to do what I need, it can even be run from the ‘Command Line’. So I have written a script to launch the .ppt file at StartUp and another to exit Powershow at shutdown.
