Dear All,

I've installed the VMWare on my PC with Windows 98 Operating System. Then I installed NWClient32 for win 95/98 and running well. But when I tried to run the nwadmin32, the application does not appear until more than 6 hours.
My question is : could nwadmin32 run in VMWare ???

Thanks a lot.

what is the host OS? and where are you running NWAdmin from?

Thanks for the response Brent,

The host OS is Win2K Pro and I Installed VMWare on there. On VMWare, I installed Windows 98 and running the NWAdmin32 from win 98.

My question is, did you really sit there and wait for 6 hours? Not trying to be synical, but I would have said screw it after 10 minutes.

Where is the NetWare server that you are mapped to from the VMWARED-Win98 machine?

Thanks Marvin,

If I run the NWAdmin32 from my PC ( not from VMWare ), it just 2 minutes to opened the application. But the problem is if I tried it from VMWare that installed on my PC, it is so long and doesn't work I thing.

I can run the rconsole from the VMWare...

The Spec : Processor with PentiumIII, 512MB of Memory, 40GB of Disk, Win2k Pro SP3 of Host O/S, VMWare 4.0.1, Win98 of VMWare Workstation O/S

Another question I have.. How long does ConsoleOne take to load? Get back to me next week <evil grin>

Brent asked you the question, and so Did I.... but you never answered it. Where is NWADMIN? You do have a Novell server somewhere, right? Are you running Nwadmin from a mapped drive to that server? or what..

where is the novell server..

I would copy win32 directory from sys:\public to the local drive and try to run nwadmin.

NWADMIN is in my Server on our LAN. I run the NWADMIN by Mapped drive the Server from VMWare on my PC.

I tried to copy win32 directory from sys:\public and run the NWADMIN, but still doesn't work.

Could anyone help my problem ??/

Why are you even trying to run NWADMN323, run NWadmn instead for Win98 OS.
