Running MICROS on Windows Embedded Standard

Hi there, we are needing to add a terminal witch run Windows Embedded Standar (Win 7), to a MICROS net. Actually i tryed to install WIN32 CAL 3.1.3.115, but during the installation i get two issues:
1- in the terminal selection part i only can choose from 3 terminal called "UWSCALRESEVED", none of those were defined on the server, but doesnt appear to find the rest of the running terminals.
2- Moving forward, i get the screen popup "Installation Of "win32RES" Failed".

And so, there is the farest i can go with this.

Please i need help here.

Uninstall the previous file, delete the folder. Then try this one Win32 CAL 3.1.3.116. This one works at my sites.

Hi, thanks you, it worked better, but i got stuck again, this time at the "MICROS Aplication starte" during the phase "Waiting for MDSHosts file".
Do you have any cleu what i´m missing?

That just means it cant get the host file from the server. Its a common issue.

Follow the below steps one by one until it works.
1. Open the Micros Control Panel on the server and reload the database.
2. Open services.msc and restart the Micros Distributed Services services & reload the database again.
3. Open D:\Micros\Common\Etc and delete the MDSHosts.xml and repeat steps 1& 2.

Thanks for the guide, i solved it putting the MDSHosts.xml file on "C:\Micros\Common\Etc" and then created the registry key "OPS" on "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\MICROS\3700". Whit that it worked from the first time.
NOw i got MICROS running on Windows Embedded Standard. Now i just have to install the Fiscal Printer, the Magnetic Card Reader and the Finger Printer Reader.
