running DOS program from menu or command buttons

I would like to know if there is a way of running a DOS program from a menu on mouse click. Also, please let me know how can I open files bigger than 64K inside a text box.<br>
I like to thank in advance for any usable tip on either one of the questions.<br>

I found the way to execute DOS programs with the help of Shell command, however I still can't figure out how to open a text file bigger than 64k inside a text box.
