I have been away from having to setup Crystal reports for a while, so I'm a little rusty and can't figure this out. Sorry if it seems elementary.

I have my report set up to show payments posted for each account. There are two records for each payment date (one interest and one principal).

I want to showing the running balance of only the principal payments. How do I get the records where I_P="2802" to be omitted from the running total?

TIA

In the evaluation section of the running total, use a formula:

I_P <> "2802"

Thank you! That helps, but now for some reason it skips the first principal payment and starts at the second one.

What have I left out (or added)?

The running total must be in the detail section or group footer. How do you have it set up and where is it located?

I actually have the running total as part of another formula to subtract it for the amount paid out.

@Running_Balance
{Loan_Application.KAFC_LoanApproved}+{#Balance}

The formula is in the details section.

Never mind. I found my error. I'd entered the incorrect item in the evaluation criteria formula.

Thanks again! I appreciate the assistance!

Please show some sample data with the fields you are using and the running total added.
