Running ASP.NET 1.0 & 1.1 on the same Server

I have a new windows 2003 Web Server that had asp.net 1.1 loaded on it when I got it. I need to get a website that I have that uses asp.net 1.0 running on it as well. I have the ASP.NET 1.0 installed on it but the site doesn't seem to be working correctly.
I tried uninstalled ASP.NET 1.1 on it but that doesn't seem to do anything. the server goes through the process of uninstalling it. when I reboot it still shows as asp.net 1.1 still installed?

any ideas would be great.

kg00se: Have zero experience with Web Servers but I don't see why a website that runs off of asp.net 1.0 couldn't survive on a server running asp.net 1.1 with a little tweaking. Whenever things get a little messy on my laptop I just reformat the drive and start over -- especially when it involves IIS, dot.net, etc; there's a point I don't trust the registration, ect. Just a gut feeling. I would tweak the 1.0 website and run the whole thing on 1.1. But like I said, I have zero experience with web servers and so thought I'd throw out an opinion since you have had not takers in the last several hours. I am sure there are other approaches, perhaps someone will stop by and head you off in the right direction.

I don't think the problem would be 1.0 vs 1.1
what exactly happens when you try and serve your pages? it may be an IIS problem.
