Could someone upload a sample named.conf and httpd.conf from apache, if they are using it through a router?

i would like to see how to configure apache (and my router) in order to properly host a domain.

All i need to know is how to setup apache to run from the router, my domain already points to my ip address , but i cant figure out how to setup the router to point to my computer.

Any suggestions?

I assume you have more than one machine if you are using a router. Let's say your router has the local ip address of 192.168.0.1 and your server is 192.168.0.2. Your router would have 2 IPs, a local or private IP and an internet IP. When a request comes to your router it needs to forward all port 80 (http) calls to 192.168.0.2. Then you can setup apache to listen for the internal ip or use * to tell it to listen for all addresses.

Im having trouble configuring my SMC router (192.168.2.1) to forward any port request to my server ip (192.168.2.27).

For instance, i want to telnet my own server , so i set any port 23 to forward from 192.168.2.1 to 192.168.2.27, but it doesnt work.
