Running Apache as ROOT

Hey guys,

I have apache set up on a solaris server, I really need to know the security implications of it running as root. I didn't install it myself, but now being asked to look at the issues and how to shift it off root if it is bad.

Does any one know on a scale of 1 to 10, 1 ok, 10 very bad Running Apache as root?
