I have created a dialog-based DLL project using VC6.0
It works well in Windows 2000 and XP, but gives an RUNDLL32 error when running in Windows 98 SE and NT4
What could be the problem?
I do hope there is someone could give me a hand and help me out...

Thanks in advance.

maybe some dll are missing, or are used some old incompatible functions

Are you calling API’s that are not available in Windows 98? When you used functions from the Windows API did you read the documentation to see what platforms they were supported on?

the main features of this DLL are:
1) hyperlink to a webpage
2) different colour of the hyperlink. ex, mouse over it, after click it...
3) when the mouse is over the hyperlink, there will be a "Tooltip" telling the user "Click to visit my site"

I have tried to find out the limitations for windows98 in my program... but unfortunately, still have the same error...
