I'm trying to use RunCommand acCmdOpenDatabase from a button on a form. When I click on it I get the message, The command or acion "opendatabase" is not available now.
Any ideas,
Thanks!

Look at the "Shell" command instead.

HTH,

Ed Metcalfe.

Could you be more specific, I'm new to VB. I'm also wondering why the runcommand doesn't work. I want the user to be able to select which database to open and close the current db.

Thanks

Can you post the code you are using? I might then be able to tell you why it isn't working.

How do you want the user to select which database to open? Using the File Open Dialog Box?

Ed Metcalfe.
