Have you included a reference to Word. Project/ References.
Warning. Using early binding with Office Automation is discouraged. There is no longer any attempt to maintain binary compatiblity so whatever works for "early bound" Word '97 may not work in Word 2000. Go to and search on Office Automation. Generate Forms/Controls Resizing/Tabbing Class
