Run Time Error 3001 Invalid Argument

Hello everyone, I have a real quick question. We having this one database, seems lately around lunch time (maybe coincedental), this it is gives a Run Time Error 3001 Invalid Arguement. Also, something elese (maybe coincedental) there always seems to be someone that has left the database open and left the office. Anyone have any suggestions as to why I am getthin this error?

check the size of the database - may be max'd - empty work tables and compress or set compress on close option

I'd strongly recommend *against* using the compact on close option.

Thanks for the replies so far. The problem that we are having is that when the user goes to click on a button to open another form. A record is being deleted, and we are not finding out why or how it is being deleted. There are 2,854 records in the table. There are a lot of memos in this particular database. I will see if I can get the code for you.
