My old computer died and I was able to salvage only the disk drives. I copied the entire \Program Files\Qualcomm folder to the C: drive of my Windows 7 system. (It was originally on an XP system, but I think that's irrelevant.) The actual Eudora folders are in a \data directory, and I also copied that. When I try to run C:\Program Files\Qualcomm\Eudora, either by highlighting the file and right-clicking Open or by double-clicking on Eudora.exe, I get an alert that says "Cannnot start Eudora the first time with attachments. Please start Eudora by double clicking the Eudora icon or by the command line." I did both these things, and neither worked. Any suggestions?

I solved the problem by reinstalling Eudora. I had downloaded the installation file a long time ago and it was in my backups.
