Run CRN report in multiple databases

Hi fellows,

I have several reports for an application but I have to different envirnments, a production and a test environment. Once I have deployed the reports to Cognos Connection, how can I select the database that will be used by the report?

I also would like to do the same in Framework Manager with the packages, can I use the same project and select what database to connect to?

You can't dynamically change the database that the report will use. However you can define it within Framework Manager. Under datasource in FM, you can change the database schema to the different systems you want. Or you can change the connection in Cognos Connection -> Directory -> Data Sources.

Perhaps you might want to setup separate packages for each environment or group of reports within each environment.
