Hi,

I have a vb-script that sends a mail. I try to let Arcserve run that script when a job completes. In the activity log it shows that it runs the command but I don't get a mail.

Now I have made a batch file that executes the vb-script. I let Arcserver run that batch-file, but still no mail.

If I run the script on my own it works so there's nothing wrong with the script.

What can I do?

Have you tried to use the built in email function from the Alert Manager? You will need a SMTP server and if you have that you can just configure the Alert Manger.

I hope you find this post helpful.

GSC

I have no Exchange so I can't use the alert manager I think?

Anyway this should also work...

I moved the batch-file to the home directory of arcserve and now it works.

weird...
