Hi Guy's my company is in the process of merging, which means new smtp (pjack@some.com from pjack@somewhere.com). I just wanted to know is there a way of seting up a rule on the exchange that notifies all email senders that send emails to ?@some.com that the domain name/email address has changed to ?@somewhere.com. We have both smtp address in the domain wich is going to run for a few months and then we are going to remove it.

Can't think of anything natively that could help in this scenario, except for setting rules on each mailbox (which may be prohibitive in your environment) or writing a SMTP Event Sink (which may be too much effort).

You can do this by adding a disclaimer message to the bottom of each email sent out (which can be further customized to only be sent based on rules).
Use GFI's MailEssentials to do this, you can get a 30-day eval here:

And you don't want an automatic rule doing it anyways, as that will validate email addresses to inbound spammers.
