I'm getting the following error when I try to launch RTDS " javax.net.ssl.SSLException:Connection has closed: javax.net.ssl.SSLHandshakeException:No appropriate protocol (protocol is disabled or cipher suites are inappropriate) " It appears as though RTDS does not work with the latest version of Java, and the security police here at my work will not let me run a earlier version of Java... Anyone else notice this issue and possibly have a work around?

Install a vm (Virtual machine) using Oracle VM Virtual Box or similar.
Install Windows XP then log on to the Assistant and go through the client preparation to setup your browser for your version of HiPath
If they insist then show them the error and ask for their assistance ?

Well, there are a couple of problems with that.. First: I do not have admin rights to any machine within the facility.. Second: If say I brought my own personal laptop to work which I could do the install on, once I tried to connect the laptop to our network, the network would not allow it to connect. It's very annoying to have EVERYTHING locked down and try to do my job..

OK well then you are not being allowed to do your job.
It seems they don't trust you or their equipment.
