RS/6000 B50

There is an RS/6000 B50 that is unused at my company that I want to use for certain applications. However, there isn't a 3151 Terminal around that I can connect, and there isn't a video port on the B50.

Is there a way I can connect with my laptop (FreeBSD) using the serial port on the laptop to S1 on the B50? I just run 'cu -l /dev/cuad0 -s 9600' to connect to the serial port on the Solaris servers, but not getting any output on the B50.

What cable are you using to connect S1 to the laptop's serial port? Needs to be a null-modem cable, or better yet, a cross-cable with all the handshake lines "faked".
