Has anyone got the RRDTOOL for MRTG and other programs working on a W2K box? How do you start the rrdtool process? The tutorial says "rrdtool create test.rrd --start 920804400" but it doesn't run??

RRDTOOL isn't a process it is a tool. It is run by other scripts as they need it's services.

Search the rrdtool-users mailing list ( or the MRTG mailing list ( There is a wealth of knowledge there.

Yes, I did get the rrdtool command to work, I was in the wrong directory. I ran through the RRDTOOL tutorial and it works now. Now I just have to integrate it with my MRTG configuration.
