Hi, I'm trying to set up this POS system. I'm new to this thing, so bare with me please. I have 2 POS systems side by side. I will refer to them as POS1 and POS2. Both of the POS is attached to a printer and it works fine. My real problem is that I can ring up orders on both machines, but I can't close out day on POS2. POS1 seems to be working fine and I can close day with it. I recently had POS2 crash on me with the blue screen of death. I had to re-do everything. Does anyone know what I need to do?

In my experience, you should only have to close out the day on one terminal, the master.

I'm sorry. I worded this post wrong. What I meant was that Coffee2 can't link with Coffee1. I think I have the .ini file for both wrong. Usually how is it set up or where do I look to configure all this? I can close on Coffee1 and it gives me an option to close on Coffee2. For example I can ring up orders on Coffee1 and close the register and close day even if Coffee2 has orders processed and have not closed the register.

Wish there was more help for you here. Not too many people are familiar with that system. Sounds like a networking issues.
I would like to see you post back your feelings toward the functionality and support you get with the system for others who search here for POS purchasing advice.

The company is called RPower. They use K3 software. They are great on technical support, but they charge about $60 a month. They system is pretty good, but it has crashed on me once for each POS system I have. I fixed it myself though. Other than that, they do all the work for you by using Logmein program. They are helpful and they are fast.
