This time it's on another server I'm running. I'm just hoping it's not as dreary an outcome as I think it's going to be.

I need to upgrade GLIBC on this box, but I get the following errors:

rpm -Uvh glibc-2.2.93-5.i386.rpm glibc-common-2.2.93-5.i386.rpm glibc-devel-2.2.93-5.i386.rpm

error: failed dependencies:
rpmlib(PartialHardlinkSets) <= 4.0.4-1 is needed by
glibc-common-2.2.93-5
gcc < 2.96-79 conflicts with glibc-devel-2.2.93-5
libnss_files.so.2(GLIBC_2.0) is needed by db3-3.1.14-6

So if I try to upgrade RPMLIB I get even more failed dependencies. I'm so tired........ so very very tired.

Go install apt-rpm. Then point it towards the debian servers. It'll fix that rpm garbage of a problem.
