RPC Problem

Hi guys, I have a question about RPC.


I have a C program using RPC. I'm not a programer.

this program is running very good in one machine but when I tried to run the program in a machine with the same AIX version I got the below error. How can i check if the RPC stuff were installed correctly?

error----> select failed: Bad file number

Kind of depends on the operation you are trying to perform. If you don't use the SPECIFIC qualifier and the specific name, you might not see the problem:

example:
grant execute on function t1 to usr2 with grant option;

or select name, address from table
group by 1,2
order by 1,2

Thanks. but this is not a sqlplus problem the select is a Unix command (RPC).
