RPC over HTTPS

RPC over HTTPS is not working for me. If anybody has experience configuring RPC over HTTPS with apache 2.0 as reverse proxy please advice what are the changes that need to be done in apache config apart from <location></location> for the RPC directory. SSL is also performed on my reverse proxy.
I appreciate your help. Thanks
