RPC over HTTP question

has to be configuration issue.

when I try to login remotely to verify using

http://mail.myserver.com/rpc

what I get is

"the server mail.mydomain.com at mail.mydomain.com requires a username and password"

I try to login with domain\username and it eventually gives me:
HTTP Error 401.3 - Unauthorized: Access is denied due to an ACL set on the requested resource.
Internet Information Services (IIS)

what should I look at next?

when I try that i tries connecting to the netbios name of the server (server.domain.com) with type directory, says connecting, then underneath it for same server name has type referral.

but does not ever connect.

Did you install the security certificate on the computer you are using to connect to the Exchange server?
