Roxio CD Creator and Driver

I'm running Window XP and installed CD Creator. I've also installed the update to CD Creator 5. Still I can not get it to reconize my driver for the burner. My burner is working fine with all other programs.
I've reinstalled my burner.
Ran Nortons Systemworks.
Nothing has helped so far.
Any ideas?

Go grab the 5.01 patch from Roxio's website.

I have installed the 5.01 with no luck.
Have a sony CD-RW CRX175A1 and HP CD-RW 8200.
Any more ideas?

Go back to Roxio's website and make sure that your writer is supported. Some of them aren't. Jennifer Sigman

I had the same problem with a Phillips external 440 burner. I eventually got sick of Roxio and went to Nero. Nero works fine with the burner, but not Roxio. I had the latest and greatest updates for both the burner drivers and Roxio, with no luck. I would suggest using Nero to see if that works better, because I really doubt it is your burner, especailly when I ran into the exact same thing and Nero works fine with no changes to the PC.
