Row Numbers 1

Hello all!

This may be a really stupid question but I'm honestly stuck!

How do I restart row numbers in a group? For instance:

Sales Rep1
1. Product 1
2. Product 2
3. Product 3

Sales Rep2:
1. Product 1
2. Product 2
3. Product 3

Right now the row numbers continue even when there is a break in Reps. Ex:

Sales Rep1
1. Product 1
2. Product 2
3. Product 3

Sales Rep2:
4. Product 1
5. Product 2
6. Product 3

Any help is greatly appreciated!!

I'm sorry but I'm not sure I understand. Where do I put the running count? When I put it in the product row, it doesn't work.

Apologies, I thought you wanted row numbers to increase throughout the report as 1,2,3,4,5,6.
To get the 1,2,3 & 1,2,3 as per your example, and on the basis that you have grouped on field <Sales Rep>, add a calculated field to the report which comprises "running-count(1) for <Sales Rep>".
