Hi Guys,

I'm not really sure what to call this. I have 6 Option 11 systems that are all connected via T1's with CSU/DSUs. 12 pipes are set to voice on each line. This was done before I took over phones and I am still learning. We have a main office where all of the lines come into. It's called Waukesha. We use 4 digit dialing between the offices. Waukesha is 2100 extensions. two of the Branches connected to Waukesha, are Hartland and West Milwaukee. HArtland is 3700 and West Milwaukee is 3100. When you try to call a 3700 extension from West Milwaukee you get a fast busy signal. I know that you have to tell the phone system how to get to 3700. Can anyone explain this to me? where I would go to do this?

Thank You,

Doug Kluth

here's a short course, ld 21 ltm in each switch,, that will show all your trunk members.. try some test to determine network layout.. is it a to b to c, or a to b to c to a? helps with the next steps.. in ld 87 prt 0 cdp dsc,lsc or tsc's.. (local, distant or trunk) sterring codes.. each of them are pointed to a rli... go to 86 prt rlb 0 x.. (the rli you want to see) it will show a route (ltm) and a frl.. that sets the restriction level for that dsc.. so if i'm in switch b and dial 21, that is a match in 86, 86 send me to rlb x, rlb x send me to route x member x,,, as long as my ncos in =to or greater then the frl AND my tgar does not match the targ on the route... and i don't have cls frl on my station... phone rings on the far end in .2 seconds..

you need to spend a little time doing some prints and some ld 80 trac to get the big picture... get stuck and repost
