I hope some one can help as I am new to nortel

I have 2 contivity 600's and have configured a branch office tunnel between two offices one I control and one belonging to a second company that we share projects with this works just fine however it has now be decided that the link should also be used for browsing and no matter what I do I cannot get traffic to route to the outside world

Traceroute out to an internet address and see where it stops.
This should be first step. Look at your routing table, and examine all static routes, especially default routes to ensure correctness.
If you can route to it, then it is most likely an inability to get DNS services.

Thanks for your reply HungryHouse a trace route reveals that it stops at my private interface I can ping the outside world from my public interface

I have an Any ANY over ride rule in place to try and rule out the firewall as being the issue

there is an 0.0.0.0 route in the routing table that uses public interface to route to my gateway
