Hello,

We have CM Aura 6.0 and several buildings set up as different locations and network regions.

At each site we have teams of first aiders. We would like to have a single number to be called (6999) from any site that would deliver to a coverage answer group at the site the call was made from.

Is this possible?

Thanks

change ars digit-conversion location X 6999

Change 6999 to an extension specific to the location with a coverage path to a cover answer group specific to that site.

Shouldn't that be
change aar digit-conversion location X 6999

You may also need to add a Uniform Dial Plan entry to roure 6999 to AAR

I have always wished that my computer would be as easy to use as my telephone.
My wish has come true. I no longer know how to use my telephone.

Using change ars digit-conversion location X 6999 works just fine in my system.

depends really on what you preference is I usually use aar and private tables for linked sites and ars for anything like session manager , but both ultimatly do the same job.

APSS (SME)
ACSS (SME)
ACIS (UC)

Ok - If you say it does, then I'm sure it will. However why don't you have to dial the ARS fac then 6999?

Hi, if you just want to dial 6699 from a multitude of locations to reach a single cover answer group, put create a longer extension such as 1006699. Then route that extension to a cover answer group.

Then what you want to do is edit the uniform dial plan so that when anyone dials 6699 the system inserts 100 and the eventual extension is 1006699.

Ensure under "Dial plan Parameters" UDP extension search order says "UDP-table-First"

(display dial plan parameters)

Hope this helps

Cheers

I've just seen you wish to route to different people, so instead of UDP saying insert 100. You should set it to L3 (3 digits of the location code)

then go to "change locations" and set a location code at each site.

you should then create the relevant extension for each location so that it routes to the first aid team.

Cheers

Ah crap, you're right. Think I'm doomed to continually make this mistake. Actually, after this time I hope I won't.
