routing DCOM

Hello,
Ok here's the questiona and hopefully someone can elighten me on this one!
I have a 3 tiered app running through 3 dmz's and 2 firewalls my Q is this
dmz1 = web server app server mts server
dmz2 = sql server
corp network = DB server

ok the app server gets a dcom msg from the web server through ports 1024 and up (no big deal because theyre in same dmz)
now the app server sends a dcom msg to the sql server in dmz2 heres the prob
there is a firewall between dmz1 and 2 and app vendor says i need to open up ports 5000 - 65000 for dcom is there a way around this?
has anyone else here run an app in this type of environment
