I have 2 PRI cards on Nor* 0+32 with Software Rel 6.1. PRI-A is linked to public network with 20 PRI numbers, DNs 600 to 799. I would like to reserve DN's 700 to 759, so that any call from the public number on these ext to be routed to PRI-B, which is an E1 card connected to Cisco router connecting a remote site.

Thank you for giving me hints of how to this routing

Build target lines for 700-759 from the public network then redirect those lines to go out PRI-B to your other switch. Then on the other side build target lines and assign them to the phones. It does work because I have done it.

OK, I built the target lines for these extensions, now how can I redirect those lines to go to PRI-B?

Add those Target Lines to a Phone (you can do as many as the phone will hold because after you redirect them you can take the lines off of the phone until you want to turn redirect off). Make sure the phone also has access to the pool that goes out to the other side.
1) Enter Feature 84
2) Select line to go out (with PRI use your Intercom key as your line out and put in the desti code).
3) Enter the digits for the other side (desti plus #)
4) Select the line you want to redirect (target line)
That should do it.

I think you might want to use the received digits coming in on pri-a as destination codes pointing to pri-b. You also need to enable (create) a remote package that says that pri-b can accept calls from lines on pri-a

I did this a totally different way...

I did not even address the "remote" DID's at the MAIN site. I did, however, build corresponding target lines at the REMOTE site.

worked like a champ..

however, this is 4.1 at the main site, and 5.0 at the remote...

question: with 6.1, can caller ID be pushed across the point to point? I'm thinking of doing an upgrade for some of the new features (voicemail)

The caller id will go across as long as the call was not answered and then transfered.
