I successfully connected a TLU76 trunk with an Asterisk box, but I still have a problem for dialing one way: MD to Asterisk.

I have 2 TLU76
rou=1 to TLU76 connected to an E1 PSTN
rou=100 to TLU76 connected to E1 ASTERISK

rodap
ROU TYPE VARC VARI VARO FILTER
1 SL60 0000000 05400000 22010000 NO
100 SL60 0000000 05400000 22010000 NO

rocap

100 711000000000001 5 0101000000 0 30 128 03151515 111100000030 101110

55 100 0025000000000250000 0 3 0

50-59 are ED extensions

if I dial

500123456789 then after 50 I hear another tone (public dial tone) and 0123456789 is properly dialed to outside

If I dial

551234 then after 55 I do not hear any dial tone
whether I dial 55 alone or 551234 it's the same, a call is placed to the proper second trunk and asterisk rings but what is missing ?

I tried to define 55 in external number length with min 2 max 6
but did not help.

any clue ?

more specifically the MD does not let me dial 1234 after 55 (I checked on a 3213 digital phone).

help!

I think Asterisk requires the en-bloc signalling. Basically the whole number must be sent at once.

In order to do this you must Number length where min and max are the same value.

Never mind, I found the trick.

On the Asterisk setting it requires a immediate=no / overlapdial=yes so that digits can be transmitted.

Combining MD 110 + VOIP on Linux is great.

What kind of PC card you use for cnnection with MD110?

Sangoma A102

there are 2 E1/T1 connectors.
I struggled at the beginning with the Linux install but on a clean system it works perfect.

My PC is a P3 667 Mghz !!!!! nothing special!
