I am having issues with creating a routing policy between to ip ranges keep receiving errors when I use

route add 38.103.80.52 192.168.10.245

Basically, the device 192.168.10.245 is ment to be the gateway to 38.103.80.52, but i keep receiving the error

"The route addition failed: Either the interface index is wrong or the gateway does not lie on the same network as the interface. Check the IP Address Table for the machine."

I am assuming this is because the PC is on the 192.168.1.X subnet. How would I overcome this?

Accessing PC
IP: 192.168.1.54
Subnet: 255.255.255.0
Gateway: 192.168.1.1

VPN device to hosting service
IP: 192.168.10.245
Subnet: 255.255.255.0
Gateway: 192.168.10.1

Yes, the problem is that both devices are not on the same subnet. A quick fix would be to change the subnet mask on both devices to /16 (255.255.0.0).

Unfortunatly changing the subnet isnt feasible at the current time, any other pointers? Nat?
