I have a router with 1 FA0/0(WAN PORT) and 4 FA switch ports 1/0 thru 1/3. How would I configure the switch ports to get access out through FA0/0(WAN) and also have things plugged into the 4 switch ports get addresses from the DHCP pool?

Thanks in advance

FYI. it's a /25 subnet on FA0/0 and the DHCP pool is part of this range...

I am exculding x.x.x.1-20

Thanks

Hello
Can you be a bit clearer, why do you want to use DHCP on your WAN.Is this a lab setup or a production network?
Normally you would have a subnet /30 on the WAN and a bigger subnet on your LAN /24,here's where you would configure the DHCP pool.In any case the four port switch was design to connect four computers at layer 2,and then you would use Vlan1 for the layer 3 configurations for those PC.If things aren't clear our you need help with the conf let me know.

Regards
