Router IP? 1

i just got this router and i m experience difficulty with it. it gave me all my client computer a internal ip start with 192.*.*.* , is this a "normal" internal ip address?

i know internal ip start with 10.1.*.*

anyone know about this?
it's a linksys router

Yes, the 192.*.*.* is a standard private IP besides the 10.1.*.* ~Apex1x

There is a bunch of non-broadcasting IP ranges that can be used, I believe 169.*.*.* is another one... try doing a search on "non-broadcasting IP subnets" ..

Here are the private, internally usable ip addresses:

1 A class : 10.0.0.0 - 10.255.255.255 (/8 prefix)
16 B classes : 172.16.0.0 - 172.31.255.255 (/12 prefix)
256 C classes : 192.168.0.0 - 192.168.255.255 (/16 prefix)
