VMPRO 3.2 (Intuity)

I've created a personal auto-attendant, and would like to be able to tell the caller whether I'm on the phone or just away from my desk.

Apparently, the Busy status of "Route By Call Status" is only triggered if you have no available call appearances.

However, Phone Manager has no problem showing a user as "busy" when they're on a single line and still have available call appearances.

So... Does anyone know a way to get VMPRO to test if any call appearances are in use?

There is no interaction feature between the two components that would allow for this.

You could put a user in a group with no vm or queuing and use an assisted transfer to route to that group. Because there is no q or vm it would return busy, you could then use the options under the assisted transfer to carry on routing in vm.
